EXPERIENCE PROVIDES THE LONGEST HEAT.

RIKA has been pursuing research and development in the field of stoves for over 20 years, and still today plays a pioneering

role in the development of pellet technology in Europe (40,000 pellet-fired stoves manufactured). The same is true of environment protection, with all RIKA models being tested to the Austrian BVG 15a guideline,one of the strictest in Europe. The maximum emission limits in force are in part bettered by 50 %, while fuel efficiency is far above the prescribed guidelines. These excellent figures are achieved through innovative technology and the use of selected materials, since the best quality steel, high-resistant special castings and high quality ceramic components form the basis for every RIKA stove.

Our company headquarters are in the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen region, one of the most attractive areas of Upper Austria. Since as long ago as the 16th century, the area has been famous for the skill of its population in handling all kinds of metals. It is hardly surprising that we at RIKA have iron in our blood. The final touch to our products is still done by hand, just as it was 100 years ago.
ALTERNATIVE ENERGIES ARE THE FUTURE.

Whether solar-power systems, fuel cells or an environment-friendly stove by RIKA, the future belongs to new energy-saving forms of heating. Improved heat insulation and modern materials will require heating systems of between 10 and 12 kW over the next few years – the perfect conditions for a RIKA central heating stove. Used in combination with distance heating, mains gas, electricity, heat pumps or solar cells a RIKA central heating stove is the ideal supplement for resource-saving heating.And there’s the added bonus of the cosy flickering of the fire.

To be honest, we don’t think much of trends. Our approach is too long-term. But we are interested in good form, and make it part of our corporate culture. Thanks to innovative control systems, RIKA pellet stoves used as air heater is not just convenient in every respect but also very efficient. You can reduce the room temperature produced by your primary heating source to 15°. The RIKA pellet stove provides the necessary additional warmth at the right time at the touch of a button, by a timer or a telephone call. This saves you 30 % of your heating costs (for each reductionof 1°, your primary heating costs fall by 6 %).

PELLETS, A GOOD IDEA FOR WOOD RESIDUES.

Heating with pellets goes easy on the environment and your pocket. Pellets are 100% pressed left-over wood. Held together by only the lignin naturally contained in the wood, a kilo of pellets achieves one and a half times the heating capacity of specially felled beech wood.

NOTHING BUT NATURE.

A further advantage: pellets are of constant quality, are completely dry and hardly take up any space during storage. Thanks to their purity, they burn so cleanly that you can safely use the small quantity of ashes remaining as fertiliser for flowers.

Pellets are a perfect part of the ecological cycle. They consist of natural wood and when burned only release the quantity of CO2 that they previously produced in oxygen as a tree.
